Will These Factors Hamper My Ability To Gain Absolute Pitch?

Kevin: I play bass in an orchestra (which is notorious for being a difficult instrument to play in tune), as well as sing in a chorus where my fellow tenors could be as much as, but not limited to, a half step flat on an given note. Will these factors hamper my ability to gain absolute pitch?
